A Career at Bain & Company

Bain & Company has been named one of the world's best places to work, offering a wide range of career options for undergraduates, MBAs, advanced degree holders and experienced professionals.

Our formula for success has been simple—create a high-impact, supportive culture where immensely talented people are encouraged to be brilliant at what they do.

Social Impact

Social Impact

In addition to our casework, Bain Los Angeles takes pride in community involvement. Our office holds an annual United Way campaign and recently completed pro bono projects for GLAAD and City Year, and hosted Inspire.

ExED

ExED is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the state of education in Los Angeles County by helping charter schools succeed. The Bain/ExED project focused on understanding the challenges facing high school education in Los Angeles and developing a strategy for ExED to have maximum impact on the community.

LA's BEST

The Los Angeles office has become an active contributor to the local community through regular pro bono work and office-wide volunteering. LA's BEST, one of our nonprofit partners, is a nationally recognized after-school program for socioeconomically at-risk children. It provides opportunities for kids to learn and interact in a safe, structured after-school environment.

Museum of Contemporary Art

The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) is an important part of Southern California's fine arts community. According to Jeremy Strick, MOCA director, "Bain's relationship with the museum has helped us to progress through a period of change while mapping out our future. With Bain's guidance, we have been able to increase our donor giving, thereby helping us expand in numerous ways."

United Way of Greater Los Angeles

Bain Los Angeles teamed up with the United Way of Greater Los Angeles (UWGLA) in an effort to "Bridge the Gap," developing a strategy and implementation plan for a major Individual Development Account (IDA) matched savings strategy that helps the working poor save for appreciating assets.

Community Impact Day

Community Impact Day is an annual event at Bain Los Angeles. Each summer, we spend an entire day volunteering for a local nonprofit organization. In the past we have joined forces with LA's BEST, Habitat for Humanity, Los Angeles Conservation Corps, and Hope for Kids.
