Our internships and programs offer a firsthand look into a variety of our roles in the consulting industry. All provide an experience to learn about Bain, dive into what it’s like to work with us, and gain skills you can leverage throughout your career.

These programs range from two days to a year

We have lots of programs for a variety of experiences—there's something for undergraduates, MBAs, and those with advanced degrees. There are internships for those curious about consulting, for future female leaders with already extensive work experience, and for business functions like knowledge management.

Our current programs

  • NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA

    One week or less

    • Connecting and Resourcing Empowered Women (CREW). If you identify as a woman, find your CREW at Bain. In-person 1.5-day workshop for sophomore (second) year students in the US and Canada. Learn more
    • The Freshman Leadership Accelerator (FLA). Gain early exposure to consulting as a first-year undergraduate student. 1.5-day program for students in the US at a four-year university who identify as Black, Hispanic/Latinx, or Indigenous. Learn more
    • ADvantage. Live a "week in the life" as a strategy consultant. For advanced degree students. Learn more
    • Building and Supporting Excellence (BASE). Spend a week as a Bain consultant prior to your MBA and have a full year of support. For students who identify as Black, Hispanic/Latinx and Indigenous interested in joining any of Bain’s US or Toronto offices after business school. Learn more
    • Building Entrepreneurial Leaders (BEL). Spend a week working in-person alongside a consultant case team at one of our US or Canada offices. For second-year (sophomore) students in a four-year program who identify as Black, Hispanic/Latinx, or Indigenous.  Learn more

    10 weeks, full-time

    • Associate Consultant Internship. Spend a summer strategizing with the best of Bain. For students enrolled in a three or four-year undergraduate degree program. Learn more
    • Knowledge Management Internship. Spend 10 weeks helping Bain's client-facing case teams store and organize knowledge. For graduate students who identify as Black, Hispanic/Latinx, or Indigenous (North America).  Learn more
    • Summer Associate. MBA and advanced degree candidates get to spend 10 weeks as a consultant. Learn more

    • True North: Scholarship for Black Heritage. Explore consulting through the eyes of Black leaders. Two-day in-person workshop in London for students of Black heritage in their penultimate year of undergraduate university. Learn more
    • True North: Scholarship for women. For students who identify as women in their penultimate year of undergraduate university, of any nationality or degree. Learn more

    • BainConnect. Calling all ambitious women—join us for four weeks to learn about consulting. A series of workshops and events for women with 2-8 years' work experience in any industry. Learn more
    • Belong@Bain. Get a feel for work as a consultant. 8 month program for LBS students of Black heritage who have been admitted into an MBA class of 2025. Learn more
